Speed and Reliabiltiy

High Velocity

Hyper Q Aerospace has designed an electrically driven, very fast, heavy lift, VTOL rotorcraft.

RotorHawk's rotor head utilises our patented aerodynamic engineering, incorporating rotor slowing and retreating blade stall mitigation to allow this aircraft to fly almost twice as fast as a conventional, single rotor disk helicopter or most styles of multi rotor, air mobility designs.

RotorHawk will exceed 250 kts.


Weight is no problem

Heavy Lift

RotorHawk can scale by increasing the size or number of electric motor drives and the size of the rotor blades.

Range is dependent on payload and the type of power plant desired by the end user.

The options will include

  • Battery only
  • Liquid fuel
  • Tethered

We anticipate payloads in excess of 1000kg.


Confined Spaces No Problem

VTOL

Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) allows RotorHawk to operate from confined spaces.

Designed to break down and fit inside a twenty foot ISO container, RotorHawk can be transported anywhere around the world and assembled ready for flight in minutes.

Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) operations will necessitate the need for collision avoidance, intruder alerts and adverse weather avoidance. Regulator flight approvals will govern the speed at which Hyper Q Aerospace can offer:

  • Remote area logistics
  • Warehouse to warehouse
  • Farm to market

Choice and Flexibility

Scalable

RotorHawk has no gearboxes.

RotorHawk is electrically powered by a revolutionary electric drive. This electric drive is scalable and stackable. We can vary the configuration, lift and speed requirements to suit the client.

A range of rotor blades can be fitted to the rotor head to offer very heavy lift, in excess of 3 tons to medium weight, highly agile and very fast VTOL transport.
